Lil Titan

Say hello to the Lil Titan avatar base for VRChat! Inspired by everybody's favorite little tyrant and ruler of demons, King.

This avatar is my gift to The Owl House and it's community. The Lil Titan base will forever be free. Please enter 0 in the payment field to "purchase" for free!

Installation:

1. Download the UnityPackage file for Lil Titan or one of the paid content.
2. Create a new Avatar project via VRChat's CreatorCompanion and import the Lil Titan or paid content UnityPackage.
3. Locate the folder 0) Scenes (look on the left-hand side of Unity for the folder hierarchy) and open one of the two scenes included (PC or Quest)
4. If desire, change the textures in folder 2) Materials to customize your look.
5. Log in to the VRChat SDK and upload your new avatar!

FAQ:

• What do I get with the Lil Titan?
  • You receive the ready-to-upload Unity Package (setup for use with VRchat), a zip containing the raw texture files, a layered Krita file for easier retexturing, the FBX for the avatar - for use in whatever can support an FBX file, and my appreciation for finding some joy in this silly project.
• I thought the avatar is free? Why are there paid versions?
  • The Lil Titan base is free and will always be. In fact, its entirely public domain. I lay no claim to it now that it has been released and is out in the public. I will still update and work to improve it, but I also encourage others to do the same! (Seriously, I'd love to see some crazy custom branches of the base!) The paid content available here are versions of the free base with additional content added.
• Help! How do I upload my avatar VRChat?
  • Everything needed to do these things are provided within the download. If this is your first time uploading an avatar, I'd strongly suggest checking out a publicly available tutorial (tutorial by
    PxINKY). If this is not your first time uploading an avatar then this should be a piece of cake; Everything in the Unity Package should be ready to upload. I'm sorry I can't be of more direct help in this regard.
• How do I change the colors on Lil Titan or the paid content?
  • You can use the included layered Krita files (Krita is a free art app) for easier customization, or use the included .ZIP texture files. You will need some basic knowledge of these art programs, or will need to seek tutorials for the particular program you're using.
• Is there a substance file?
  • Sorry. I do no have access to Substance Paint and thus cannot generate or create a file. However, if anyone is able and willing to create a substance file for the Lil Titan base, I'd happily include it in the free package along with credit.
• What am I allowed to do with the base?
  • Pretty much anything you want. While I don't condone using it in ways which spread hate or grief, I want to make it clear this base is public domain. If you want to create a community around it - go for it. Want to make a music video? Please link me when its finished! This is free. I own no rights to the base model, only the outfits and accessories I make for it. Just have fun with this silly little project and be nice to each other.

Note: By Default the PC scene uses Poiyomi shaders (available here for free). Please use the alternate material included in the Unity Package if you do not wish to use Poiyomi.
